Our first visit to LB1 was a bitter disappointment. My friends, who know me quite well (as one who is hard to please) thought the fireplace and romantic lighting would please me; it did neither. Only a very select group of tables can enjoy the fire, and the limited lighting was a sign of future darkness. The uneven flooring made me feel like I was in a drunken stupor; I had not even had a glass of wine. The table I was seated at was so close to the kitchen that I could hear the conversations among staff members, which I had better not comment on. The much-praised salad bar will not receive any praise from your critic. The iceberg lettuce had brown spots, the vegetables appeared to have been from last night and the fresh bread appeared to have been taken from a plastic bag from ShopRite. My fillet mignon was unseasoned and my sweet potato was tiny and overcooked. My companion ordered the crab cake, a mistake not to be repeated. It was a handful of mush. We opted to pass on any dessert fearing the worst. A follow-up visit can only be better.

We were staying in Atlantic City for a sports tournament and my husband suggested we get out of the city & find a steakhouse. LB one did not disappoint! The atmosphere was very old school, very cozy and inviting. The complimentary salad bar was delicious, all the items fresh. Our waitress Barb was fantastic. She completed the evening & we so enjoyed talking with her. From the prime rib, to the surf & turf, the petite filet and the chicken Kiev… all of our entrees were wonderful. You have to try the mounds cheesecake- unique & full of flavor. We may not be from the area but if life brings us back this way we will not skip a return visit!

I am a visitor to this part of the country. I love the food and culture in this small town. This place seems like it is attempting to take advantage of people. I enjoyed the food and beer a most of the atmosphere but the smell is atrocious and that means a lot to a restaurant, not to mention the prices. I have traveled the world and prices like this only occur in Michelin Star and James Beard awarded restaurants. It’s a farce and a sham. I don’t hate the place. I love the eclectic aged atmosphere but the name is pretentious and the prices are obscene. If the value was more realistic, I would have nothing so strong to say but then the sewer problem requires a professional and money and this restaurant seems comfortable asking you to spend $300+ while bathing in the communities sewer gases.

Haven't been here in years, was in the area so stopped in for an early dinner. My recollection was the Prime Rib was excellent. I ordered the prime rib, it was a generous portion, but after I cut away the fat kernel, and trimmed the other inedible parts of the portion, I wasn't left with more than 8oz of meat on my plate. Given prime rib tends to have more fat by its nature than other cuts, the cut I got was must have been from a non graded beef rib. The meat to fat ratio was very low. What you typically see at "all you can eat" kind of places, wguch i stay away from...not a mid type steakhouse. Disappointed... If I return, ill go with the NY or fillet, to ensure I get more edible meat on my plate. Our apps and sides were seasoned well and portions were nice.

Great atmosphere inside, nice antique vibes. They have a self-serve salad bar with bread&cheese. Price is a bit high for the portion size for my opinion, but they do have a salad bar. Food was great.

The place had several different rooms and an upstairs. The floor is very uneven in the main bar area room. There are about 16 steps to climb for upstairs eating area. Which we couldn’t do because of my sister and her bad leg. The salad bar is complimentary, the lettuce was slightly brown and the croutons were stale. Two of the steaks that were ordered were not cooked to the requested doneness. The staff is great. Very nice, pleasant and got all other parts of our orders correct. We googled pricing before going and they apparently need to update their website. Because there was a big difference in costs once we looked at menu.

Haven't been there in years this visit we sat at the bar area that I think should have been a table for four but there were five of us and it was very hot like there was no air on.
The food was good but not great my filet mignon was cooked perfectly but was terribly under seasoned I needed the salt and pepper shaker for sure. My lobster tail was overcooked. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their dinner my husband had the duck a l'orange special and it was very good but could have used more orange sauce.
The appetizers where nothing special maybe because they have a salad bar. Skip the appetizers people.
Our servers were personable & attentive.
P.S They don't have the Beloved cream cheese pie from their predecessor.

I don't know if there is enough space to tell you all the wonderful things about LB One. 1. The quality of the meats(Filet, Prime Rib, Salmon, Pork Chop etc.) far exceeds the price you pay. 2. The service from when you walk through the door until you leave is always exceptional. 3. Consistently consistent! Every meal is on point.
Our go to restaurant for a quality, relaxed dinner. Favorites... 10oz Filet, Pork Chop special on Wednesdays and don't forget to save room for the Chocolate Mousse!

Not sure why all the great reviews. This restaurant is the worst of worst.
We ordered shrimp cocktail, scallops and tuna
All were treated with Sodium Tripolyphosphate (STP)
The so called fresh tuna was actually a frozen product treated with the same chemicals
Salad Bar? Seriously? lol! Now that's funny!
Canned corn, canned beets, canned beans and bread from the last supper
I guess it works for the inexperienced diner but not for our party
Total waste of time and money

We stopped in on our way home from A.C. and it didn't disappoint. Didn't have to wait for a table, they have a salad bar that was freshly stocked. We both ordered NY strip, her's medium, mine medium well and they came out perfect. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, checking to see if everything was to our liking. We will go again soon.

I took my parents there for a special occasion. The atmosphere was nice and cozy, especially with the fireplace light. My dad and I ordered steaks, he had the prime rib and loved it. I had the 10oz filet mignon and it was the best steak I have ever had! My mom got the broiled scallops and she said they were delicious. The salad bar was a nice addition to our meal and the service was great! We definitely plan on go back again for future special dinners!
